Bavarian Crème Fudge

Chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk beaten smooth with peppermint flavoring and set in an 8-inch pan.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups milk chocolate chips
  • 1 square baking chocolate
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon peppermint flavoring
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk

Directions

  1. Melt chips, chocolate and butter till smooth.
  2. Remove from heat, add sweetened condensed milk and flavoring.
  3. Beat with electric mixer on low speed for one minute.
  4. Refrigerate 15 minutes, beating by hand every 5 minutes.
  5. Beat for 2 minutes on high.
  6. Put in 8-inch square pan and let set. Cut into small pieces.
