Blond Butterscotch Brownies
Thick brown sugar blondie batter spread in a 13x9 and pressed with chocolate chunks and chopped Heath bars.

Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups packed brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter, melted and cooled
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chunks (can use chips)
- 4 Heath candy bars (1.4 ounces each), coarsely chopped
Directions
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, brown sugar, baking powder and salt.
- In another bowl, beat the butter, eggs and vanilla until smooth. Stir into dry ingredients just until combined; the batter will be thick.
- Spread into a 13x9 inch baking pan coated with nonstick cooking spray. Sprinkle with the chocolate chunks and the chopped candy bars; press gently into batter.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
- Cool on a wire rack and cut into bars.
