Chocolate Dessert
Layered icebox dessert: cookie crumb crust, sweetened cream cheese, chopped candy bars and instant chocolate pudding under whipped topping.

Ingredients
- 2 cups cookie crumbs
- 1/2 cup sugar, divided into 1/4 cups
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese
- 1 tub (12 ounces) Cool Whip
- 1 cup chopped chocolate covered candy bars
- 3 cups cold milk
- 2 packages (4-serving size) instant chocolate pudding mix
Directions
- Combine cookie crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar and butter together and put in a 9x13 inch pan. Refrigerate for 10 minutes.
- Beat together cream cheese and the remaining 1/4 cup sugar until smooth. Stir in half of the whipped topping. Spread evenly over the crust.
- Sprinkle crushed candy bars over the cream cheese. Refrigerate for 10 minutes.
- Combine milk and pudding mix. Whip together for 1 minute. Pour over the candy layer. Let stand for 5 minutes or until thickened.
- Top with remaining whipped cream. Refrigerate.
