Lemon Sugar-Almond Topping

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoons finely grated zest from 1 lemon
  • ½ cup sliced almonds

Directions

  1. Stir the sugar, lemon zest, and almonds together in a small bowl.
  2. Sprinkle evenly over the batter before baking.
