Before you start: No oven temperature is given for toasting the noodles, almonds and sesame seeds; 350 degrees works, and watch them since the seeds brown fast. The "next 4 ingredients" in the last step means the bacon, noodles, almonds and sesame seeds.

Where this one came from

Nobody's written this one down yet.

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons Accent or MSG
  • 2 teaspoons pepper
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 6 teaspoons vinegar
  • 1 pound fried bacon
  • 1 cup chow mein noodles
  • 3 ounces slivered almonds
  • 4 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 1 head of lettuce

Directions

  1. Bake noodles, almonds, and sesame seeds in the oven for 15 minutes.
  2. Combine dressing (sugar, salt, Accent, pepper, oil, vinegar) before serving and add to the lettuce and the next 4 ingredients before serving.
